Janie The Bakery celebrates the subtleness in bread-making, which is elegantly expressed in its taste, texture and keeping quality. We believe that good bread necessitates wholesome ingredients and rigorous technique, despite its reputation as an “unassuming” staple. These “simple” foods can be the best part of your day if you’d give us the chance.
Our bakery specialises in old-world European style sourdough breads and the occasional pastry (and condiment). The years leading up to this has taken us around the world to different mentors. The road has been winding, even testing, but our mother has been (and still is) our biggest supporter since day 1.
This bakery is named after her.
